Setup guide

Up and running in five steps

Install RoutiVox

Install the app on your Shopify store and open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.

Add branches

Open Branches, click Add branch, and enter the email that should receive that branch's orders. Use Send test email to confirm it arrives.

Map delivery areas

Open Area Mapping and add the areas each branch covers: names, postal codes (10001), prefixes (SW1*), or ranges (2000-2099). You can also import a CSV.

Check Branch dispatch

In Automations, Branch dispatch should be Enabled. Manage it to choose which address fields are checked and the tag prefix.

Place a test order

Use a test order whose address contains one of your areas, then confirm the tag in Shopify and the entry in Order Logs.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes

An order shows "Not routed"

No active branch has an area that appears in that order's checked address fields. In Order Logs, click "Add area" on the order to map the area and route it in one step. To catch these automatically, choose a fallback branch in Automations, Branch dispatch.

Postal codes don't match

Turn on "ZIP or postal code" in Automations, Branch dispatch, Manage. Then map exact codes, prefixes like SW1*, or ranges like 2000-2099.

A branch didn't receive the email

Check that the branch is Active and has a valid notification email, then use Send test email. Also check the spam folder. Once fixed, use "Re-send email" on the order in Order Logs.

The order went to the wrong branch

Use "Reassign" on the order in Order Logs to move it and swap its branch tag. To prevent it, make area names distinctive; the more specific area always wins.

The branch tag is missing

Open the order's entry in Order Logs. "Not tagged" means Shopify rejected the tag; contact us with the order number.
